Passionate about setting the stage for adventurous lives to be lived, Michelle Nussbaumer is an award-winning interior and product designer. She is world-renowned for her eccentric and maximalist style, with signature designs inspired by her world travels. Michelle’s love for the daring has placed her work on the pages of several print publications. With a passion for creating timeless spaces inspired by the furthest reaches of the globe, Michelle founded the furniture line, Ceylon et Cie, a brand musing on Old World inspirations that are effortlessly at home in uniquely modern spaces. The Ceylon et Cie showroom in Dallas features the Ceylon et Cie collection, as well as Michelle’s eponymous fabric line and her celebrated Rock Candy collection of jewelry and jewel-encrusted boxes and trays. The space also showcases an array of 18th-, 19th-, and 20th-century antiques and textiles collected from her vast travels. Michelle has collaborated with many notable brands, including a wallpaper line with Gracie Studio, the Goop Dallas pop-up with Gwyneth Paltrow, an interior hardware collection with Addison Weeks, and a new fabric and trim collection with Clarence House in Paris. The designer’s travel and design blog, Dreaming in Color, and her design projects were the inspiration behind her book, Wanderlust: Interiors that Bring the World Home, with Rizzoli Books.
