Set a Holiday Table that Shimmers

FLOWER Style Editor Amanda Smith Fowler sets a magnificent Christmas table swirled with color and filled with heirloom pieces from Replacements, Ltd

Style Editor Amanda Smith Fowler enchants us with her artful table settings in every issue of Flower. In this special video edition of “At the Table,” she outdoes herself with a sparkling Christmas setting in the home of Margot Shaw, Flower’s Founder and Editor-in-Chief, using pieces from our partner Replacements, Ltd.

“At FLOWER, we are not afraid of color and we absolutely love entertaining,” Amanda says. “Starting from the ground up, we decided to go bold with color. You’ll see that in the beautiful vintage Cartier dinnerware. There’s lots of gold, navy, plum, red, and peach.”

The centerpiece blooms carry through the vibrant scheme, as do the garnet and cobalt hock wineglasses that, for Margot, evoke childhood memories of dinners at her grandparents’ house.

Gold accents and heirloom silver flatware and serving pieces accented with botanical details put the crowning touch on this shimmering visual feast.
