Learn how to make this garden rose bouquet accented with succulents and berries.
In this how-to, I am re-creating my wedding bouquet. My husband and I married in Houston, Texas in June a couple of years ago. Our hearts were set on an outdoor wedding as we are both nature lovers. Our search ended quickly after we visited the lush green gardens of the River Oaks Garden Club Forum of Civics.
With the location set, I reached out to floral designer Jonathan Andrew Sage because I knew he would use flowers to accent the space beautifully and creatively. For my bouquet, I wanted something more traditional—a tight, round bouquet of garden roses accented with succulents and hypericum berries. For a special touch, my bouquet was wrapped in ribbon and lace from my wedding dress.
