After you’ve had enough of galleries, explore art of another stripe at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. At Christmas, they light up the whole place in a GardenFest of Lights.
You’ll also want to drive down historic Monument Avenue to see the Christmas decor, or reserve a spot on the Holiday Glitter Walking Tour, hosted by The Valentine museum, a great place to learn about the city’s history.
