NYC’s Inaugural L.E.A.F. Flower Festival

More than 100 florists flowered the streets of New York City’s iconic Meatpacking District in a celebration of world-class floral design

June 23, 2021 — Some things are worth the wait. Originally planned for June 2020, the inaugural L.E.A.F flower festival in New York City was necessarily put on hold. What a joy to see this celebration of blooms finally unfold on the cobblestone streets of the Meatpacking District on a sunny weekend earlier this month.

The festival featured more than a million flowers, over 100 florists, floral installations on the streets and in stores, a European-style flower market, flower-arranging classes from FlowerSchool New York, and floral-inspired menus at local dining spots. Enjoy a few highlights from the event.
