Buffy Hargett Miller’s Summer Harvest Arrangements

These summer-ripened floral designs inspired by a trip to the farmers market are an all-time editors' favorite from the pages of FLOWER magazine

“I see light, texture, and graphic patterns in everyday objects, such as an artichoke, a rusted piece of metal, or the intricate patterns found in aged concrete or marble. Inspiration is everywhere,” says Buffy Hargett Miller. The artist, longtime photo stylist for Southern Living, and designer/owner at Buffy Hargett Flowers in Birmingham, Alabama, shared five summer arrangements with Flower magazine in our July/August 2014 issue. Standing the test of time, they remain an all-time favorite among our editors.
