Fine linens at Leta Austin Foster

Of course, I must mention our boutique, Leta Austin Foster, on the Via Mizner. We are like a mini Bergdorf Goodman, and we carry a highly curated mix of special luxury lines, including D. Porthault linens, Hadleigh’s loafers, and children’s clothes made exclusively for us.

Margaux, Best Palm Beach Shopping
India and Leta Austin Foster at Margaux

We love to shop at and support our neighbors on the Vias Mizner and Parigi, designed by the notable architect Addison Mizner: At Margaux, you can have Italian leather ballerina flats custom made in your choice of color and silhouette.

Aerin Lauder, Best Palm Beach Shopping
Aerin

The Aerin Lauder shop is adorable. It is small, but they are constantly changing up the merchandise—great for accessories.

Pomponner is wonderful, and they have the most fabulous caftans and tunics in town— quintessential Palm Beach chic. They also have great hats, and the owner, Lynn Scoroposki, is lovely.

Authentic Provence, Best Palm Beach Shopping
Leta Austin Foster and Susan Hofherr at Authentic Provence

We head to Authentic Provence in West Palm Beach for European garden antiques such as planters and lanterns—wonderful things to decorate a loggia and garden space. It is a pleasure to walk in there, and the owner, Susan Hofherr, is a great source.

Scandanavian Antiques & Living

Also in West Palm is Scandinavian Antiques & Living. I have bought many pieces there; it has wonderful secretaries and unique pieces.

On Worth Avenue, I shop at Style Paris, which sells luxury women’s clothing available only in their signature boutiques. Everything is made in France with the best fabrics.

Also on Worth, the Holden Luntz Gallery, devoted to photography, features top talent in the field.

For the flowers in our shop, we use Christopher Cope. He always does something original.

Editors’ Palm Beach Shopping Picks

  • Mary Mahoney is the destination for all your tabletop needs. This shop has all the brands we love—Buccellati, Mottahedeh, Gien, Herend, Hermès, Baccarat, Match, William Yeoward, and on and on. There are also fun pop-up shops throughout the year in a building next door. The store’s styling always sparks our imagination.

Hive, Best Shopping in Palm Beach

  • Hive is where we go to outfit our homes with a wonderful selection of stylish and sophisticated furniture and accessories, as well as gifts and stationery. Everything is chosen by interior designer Sara McCann of McCann Design Group and her well-trained eye. We love the bamboo-trimmed bedding, among other special pieces.
Mildred Hoit, Best Shopping in Palm Beach
Mildred Hoit
  • It’s hard to resist a place where we can shopping multitask. We head Mildred Hoit for curated clothing such as Italian cashmere and the perfect silk tunic, jewelry from Clara Williams, a favorite jewelry brand, logo-free Italian leather handbags, and lots of gifts. We love the trunk shows as well.
